This project was created during my time as a graphic design intern at L.L.Bean. As a partner of the Boston Red Sox, every year L.L.Bean sponsors an ad on the rain tarp that covers the field during delays. My task for this project was to update the creative for this tarp.
I played around with many different layouts, picking up some from past years and creating some new versions of my own. There were variations in copy as well, which all put emphasis on different pieces of the overall message. In the end, leadership settled on my own original design to move forward with for the 2020 season tarp.
The design has been used for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. L.L.Bean also filmed a video about my story of designing this tarp, and how much it meant to me as a lifelong Red Sox fan. You can watch the video below.
