Up until December of 2020, the L.L.Bean Instagram page did not have branded covers for its highlights. It was my job to create icons that would best represent each highlight category.
When creating these icons, I was aiming for a unified look and feel. While a simple line drawing is a common treatment for highlight icons, I opted to fill the shapes in to bring in some brand colors and to differentiate our treatment from competitors.
